Firefighters called to fire caused by candle in Telford

Firefighters were called to a bedroom fire at a home in Telford late last night.

Firefighters were called to a bedroom fire at a home in Telford late last night.

The fire, which was caused by an unattended candle, broke out in a property on Wantage in Woodside.

Two fire appliances from Telford Central and Tweedale attended at around 10.50pm.

Fire crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a main jet.
