Striking image shows how Telford tower block could look after revamp

This striking computer-generated image has been released by the firm redeveloping one of Telford’s most distinctive buildings.

The Haybridge – previously known as Manor Heights – is being redeveloped as part of a multi-million pound investment which will see it completely redesigned to offer 61 modern apartments.

The image is a first look at how the completed project could look.

However, developers are keen to stress it is for illustrative purposes rather than an accurate representation of what The Haybridge will look like when work is completed.

Manor Heights has been used for training firefighters in recent years

The building is being developed by Anacut Developments Ltd and work on the scheme started in January.

There will be one and two bedroom apartments for rent on assured short-hold tenancy agreements.

The newly renovated tower block will also feature a concierge, 24-hour security, a private gym, private parking and an apartment cleaning service.

The work is due to be completed and the apartments put on the market next spring.

Saffron Williams, marketing manager of The Haybridge, said: "It’s great to be involved with such a big project, I look forward to visiting the site and seeing the progress that has been made.

"It’s changing all the time.

"We look forward to sharing further information about the development in 2019, when we will begin our search for new tenants and will be launching the completion of The Haybridge."

The building in Hadley has stood empty for almost two decades.
