Telford bank robbery manhunt continues

The manhunt continues for armed robbers who targeted a bank in Telford.

West Mercia Police said they were continuing with their investigations after Lloyds Bank in Donnington was targeted on Tuesday.

Two men carrying a crowbar and hammer threatened staff before making their getaway.

A car was found on fire nearby, in between Coronation Drive and School Road, which is believed to be connected with the robbery.

The bank remained closed today. A Lloyds spokeswoman said: "It will stay closed as we continue to secure the building following the incident earlier this week."

Anybody with information is asked to call police on 101, citing reference number 230s of September 11.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or at crimestoppers-uk.org
